While this book introduces a few basic concepts, it does NOT do anything as far as giving you tips and techniques for taking better photos with a smartphone. And when I say 'basic' concepts, I really do mean basic. Such as definitions for concepts like megapixel, OIS, etc. The whole book is only 4 chapters, so I ended up finishing it in 20 minutes and learned only a marginal amount, and not a better photographer as a result.

Great book , useful information
Fairly basic but good guide for a novice.
This is a brochure. Nothing more.
This is a skimpy pamphlet - worth about $1.49
Book arrived total of 14 pages 5 of which were intro, table of context, 2 blank pages.
Info was basic camera knowledge very little to do with smart phone camera operation.
Don't waste your money,
Very well detailed explanation how to take brilliant photo in my phone.You can see a lot of idea scattered in many websites,but this book has made it easier explaining how to adjust the settings to make photos even better.I didn't even actually know i can do so much in my smart phone. Tnx Brian Pilts, i have a found a lot tweaks in my phone!.This book is highly recommended.
This appears to be a self-published, extremely basic, umm, you can't really call something this short and meager a book, more like a robust brochure. If you have never taken a picture with a smart phone this might be useful or if your non-techie parents are just starting out, they might find it helpful for a few minutes. This was not very helpful for someone with basic smartphone camera experience.
